  Mission Statement
The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy works as a catalyst for the conservation of wildlife and its habitat.
It does this through the protection and management of species, the initiation and support of community conservation and development programmes, and the education of neighbouring areas in the value of wildlife.

Events

Lewa UK organizes events throughout the year to raise funds and update its friends and supporters on developments at Lewa and within the surrounding communities.

Annual ‘Friends of Lewa’ Dinner
Ian Craig (the Executive Director of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy) and his wife Jane visit the UK every year for the annual Friends of Lewa dinner in London.  This year 200 supporters joined us for a great evening at the Clothworker’s Hall to hear from Ian about the ongoing work at Lewa. Guests were also entertained by a fantastic cabaret show put on by Kit & the Widow, who kindly also conducted an auction. The evening raised over £30,000 for Lewa’s conservation work.  The 2007 dinner will be held in Drapers Hall in London on 23 October.
